Show your support for the Coalition of Secular Voters by joining this website. The Coalition of Secular Voters is a community based organization that is supported by the efforts of its members, we do not make any requests for donations.

The advantages of joining the Coalition of Secular Voters are several, for yourself and for all other like minded people.
1) By having an organization that can claim X number of "members" or "supporters" it gives that perspective or viewpoint clout. The more members that the Coalition of Secular Voters has, then the more it will be clear to politicians that there is a significant voting block of people who don't approve of mixing religion with government and who won't vote for politicians who pander to religious interests. So in one sense it is about establishing clout for secular minded citizens.
2) By getting involved in the CSV community you can inform other people about political issues related to separation of church and state, and you can become more informed as well.
One of the goals of the Coalition of Secular Voters simply to encourage more voter participation among the secular community, to encourage people in the secular community to get involved in politics, and to encourage secular voters to the polls for every election out there, even if its just for county dog catcher.
The religious groups have become influential in politics by starting at the grass roots level and by going out to vote on every issue, thereby establishing their constituency as one that is powerful and one that politicians can effectively appeal to. The goal of CSV is to do that for the secular community. In order to do that we have to earn it by going to the polls often. Likewise, small local positions have a collective influence, currently building a base of religious political support from everything from school board members and sheriff to governors and senators.
By joining the Coalition of Secular Voters you can join together with other secular citizens to form a community of support and encouragement and to show politicians that there is a significant and growing block of voters who are taking interest in standing up for separation of church and state.
